hi carol , i have a question about my 5 month old JR . it is due to the often discharge of green paste from his left eye... ever since this happens , he lost his appetite on his meals and is less active than usual .
as this is my first dog , i think i need counsel on that.

Hi Dave,
Somehow your dog either injured his eye and/or got an infection. Have you boarded him lately? Sometimes they can catch this from other dogs. Usually when there is a green discharge it indicates conjunctivitis - which needs to be medically treated by a veterinarian with prescription medicine. You should take your puppy to the vet to have the eye looked at.  I don't know if not eating and less active is related to the eye, but when you have an infection you tend to feel bad and run down.  Best of luck!!!
