i have put my bitch with a dog for last 2 seasons and she hasnt got caught it was right time and right dates is there a test we could get done to make sure she can have pups

Yes, you can have a smear test done at your veterinarians office and there is an ovulation test kit that you can do yourself at home. The one I have heard about is called Premate.
When it is the right time, your female will willingly stand for the stud. If she is running or fighting him off, it isn't the right time. Sometimes heat cycles can last up to 28 days, with only a few of them being the most fertile days. I usually keep the stud here for at least 3 weeks during a heat cycle because it's really tough to determine the most fertile days by guessing alone. Best of luck.
