Question
Hi. I have a CKC JRT gal named Samantha. She is almost 4 mts old, and doing great potting and leash walking. I am having a horrible time finding a harness that fits her properly.  She's too big for a toy harness, but to small for a small harness. Do you have any suggestions? I've had to resort to using a collar, and I hate using them! HELP!! THANKS.

Answer
Hello Brandi,

You should try the HOUND collars, sometimes known as Martingale Collars. They were first introduced for Greyhounds because they have such big necks and thin fur but they are made large in the front and taper down to the grommets where you attach the leash. They are VERY comfortable to the dog and provide a lot of control for the handler. Most of the Jacks I know and work with (believe me, that's alot!) wear these collars. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They sell them at specialty shops like at dog training facilities etc, or you may be able to get them online or off of ebay. Best of luck!
