Scratching jack russel

I have a jack russel he is 5 monthes old. He started scratching his stomach and front legs. He stomach is red and have like a rash. Can it be the grass or his diet? What can I do to help him?

It sounds like allergies and it could be either his food or something in the environment. Try changing his food first and see if the allergy goes away. If not, the best bet would be to have him tested at the veterinarian to find out exactly what he is allergic to and keep him away from it.
