emotional dog

i have a question. My JRT is behaving weirdly of late. he's about 4 years old. He is not his usual self. when you look into his eyes u can tell he's thinking about something. he is still quite active when we come home and even when we're going to bring him out for walks. but in between, he doesnt seem to be his cheerful playful self.

he's 1 hungry dog. he's always craving for food. but recently, he's not that into it.(not all the time)

What do i do? i think he's having depression? help!

Unfortunately our dogs can't talk to us! If he is active, happy and eating, he's probably fine! Dogs need some down time too, and they are smarter than humans and only eat when they're hungry!  Jacks have such expressive faces, he probably looks sad to you but I bet it's just his dreamy eyes!!  If you are really nervous, I think you should take him to the vet for a good physical exam to ease your mind.
