picking a golden retriever puppy!

Question
Hi i have to picky my puppy tomorrow. the litter is 3 weeks old! how do i pick a blocky head and calm temperment this seems early?

I am not sure at that age if you can tell anything by the shape of the head.  You may just go with the calmest one.  If the breeder isn't planning on keeping them for another month, go elsewhere.  Puppies should never be removed from their mother and litter before 6 weeks.
