5 week old chihuahua

Hi I have a 5 week old chihuahua that was sold to me. The owner didnt want to keep the pups any more. Wanted them gone. My puppy Rocky has most of his teeth. Hes eating puppy food soft and hard ( crushed ) food. mixed together. I bought him a bottle to feed him puppy formula. But he wont take it not even when we help him. His poop is hard. So im not worried about that. He sleeps in bed with me or wrapped in a blanket. He wants to play alot at night. but only for like 15-20 mins.  and this friday were taking him to the vet. Am I doing the right stuff.

Joanna - If you can get some of the puppy formula into his food - you can soak the dry kibble with the puppy formula.
Also, you can buy a syringe and feed him some puppy formula that way.
Give him plenty of WET canned food and add some formula to it.

Yes, see the vet this week.  That will help to see if he is underweight.  He needs to eat 4 x per day to 5 x per day...
