we just had a 7 month old pitbull die of provo. So I went and got my 4 month old chiuahua a provo booster shot. So my question is can she still get sick and die?

Oh No !  I am so sorry for the loss of your pitbull to Parvo.  Now, your question is about the chi puppy and exposure to Parvo.  The answer is yes, it is possible.  The booter shots do take a little time to take effect and build a blood level.  Keep your fingers crossed and just see what happens.  If you see any signs of vomiting and loose stool please call the Vet ASAP.
