Question
My 3-month old Chihuhua was treated for conjunctivitis, but the medications do not seem to be working (two different antibiotics were used).  He still opens his left eye only half-way, and it seems irritated. What can I do?

Answer
 ** canine eye infection - normal saline eye flush ; nuvet wafers or powder ;
let me know if you need more help>>>>???

Oh, poor kid - here are some natural things you can do:
1.  Get a good eye flush - the Saline kind for humans - it will just be Sterile saline and nothing else in it.  Squirt this into the eye 2 x per day - it helps to clean the eye.  Do this for 3-5 days.
This is all natural and not a drug.

2. Next - please get this baby onto some supplements for Allergies and to strenghten the immune system....
1/2 teaspoon per day of NuVET powder or 1/2 of a NuVET wafer - will help to fight off infection and just a good vitamin to take each day.

3.  Also - you can start to do a little home cooking and be a Pet chef.  1 meal per day of the regular dog food and 2 small meals per day of SoJo home cooking - YUM YUM - you just add the lightly cooked meats to the SoJo mix:

Chi dogs need 3 meals per day or even 4 -  After they are 6 months you can do 3 meals or 2 meals plus afternoon snack.
Chi dogs never should be on 1 meal per day - they need to eat often because of LOW blood Sugar problems... Hypoglycemia.

I hope this all helps you!!!
