my boebie is acting very weird

for the past 3 days i have noticed my chi's right back leg jerking a whole lot, and when it happens he shakes his head from side to side and kind of freaks out by acting like hes going to chase it or chew his leg but he doesn't. he walks on it fine like nothings wrong. just out of the blue he does it and it seems like hes a little off balance when it happens. I'm very worried about our baby he means the world to us. so i was just wondering if maybe his sugar was low since he seems a little off balance and i guess some what weak? because hes going to the bathroom fine, eating and drinking fine, hes still himself. the whole leg jerking thing is really worrying me. thank you so much for your time, i really appreciate it!

Hello Whitney,  I am not sure about this.  I wonder if he is having a muscle spasm?  You may want to see the vet if this continues.
Also, feed 4 small meals per day to avoid low blood sugar.
YOU can also get some baby food / baby chicken or baby sweet potato food.... as a treat
