Tess - 9 wks

Tess ate at midnite last nite> Then she tried really hard to poop without success. We went on to bed. At about 1 she had to poop again. She strained but finally managed to get it done. Then she tried several more times. some times it was runny and some times nothing happened. This morning when we got up at 6 I picked her up and she got stiff for just a few seconds with her front legs straight out in front of her and her back legs straight out in back of her. I took her to the kitchen and sat her down to prepare her food and she could not stand up she kept falling over.  She was real wobbly. I fixed her breakfast and put syrup in it she ate it but she had trouble standing. Her front legs were spread out awkwardly for balance. When she finish eating she was more steady but still not normal. She went straight to her bed and snuggled into her blanket. She has never been a very active puppy. She play some but not a lot. I have had her to the vet and everything is up to date. What happened this morning?

Hi Gayle, I just don't know about this.  I think you need to have her into the vet again.  Also, give her some canned pure pumpkin about 2 teaspoons per day to help with the poops.

I wonder if she is also having a reaction to any of her puppy shots?
Talk to your vet about that..
