leaving 6 week old alone

I would like to know if it is ok to leave my puppy home alone during the work day?  Both my wife and I work 8 hours days.  I keep her in a room with her bedding, toys, food and water.  Plus pee-pads for the floor.  Am I treating my baby cruel?

I am also having problems in getting "Daisy" to drink water?  Any suggestions?

I am feeding her IAMS puppy food with Ceasar soft?  Is this ok.  She is eating her food and her stool is ok.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Danny - Is there any way to have a pet sitter stop in once per day?  Family member that can make a visit to her????
If not, you have no other choice but to leave her alone for the day.
HOW about a nice crate to contain her.  She may feel better in a smaller area of the house / crates can be little .... " dens ".

I would change over her food - What country are you in?
I can make some suggestions.
