my chiuahua

my dog was in the yard laying on her side she was died.i know she had only been out for about an hour and a half at dark.when i turned her over her stomach had skin missing like a quarter size with a shape of a diamond i dont know why she died.i dont know if it was split or something like peeled her skin off.i did change her dog food recently 3 days ago.and she had been throwing up maybe 2 or 3 times the day before.but she seemed to be ok.but that was the only thing wrong with her body.my chiuahua was only 7 years old.

Hi Shelly, I am so sorry for the loss of your dog.  Sounds to me like a large bird or other attacked her.  This is very common.  She has been ill so she couldn't fight off the ? large bird or other animal....
