7 yr. old Chis tail hair is falling out.

My female is 7 yrs. old. The hair around her hind quarters and half way up her tail has fallen out. It does not appear to be mange. Could be food allergy?

That is possible Kim.  What food are you feeding her?  Also, have you had any blood work done to check the Thyroid?
Sometimes this is a sign of Thyroid troubles ....
What food and brand is she eating?
