QUESTION: That's brill advice, but the only problem is i live in the United Kingdom. I doubt it will be able to get it/sent over here? We just tried medicated shampoo over the weekend for eczema, and it only worked for a little while too.

Hi Holly - Yes, a good oatmeal doggie shampoo will help a bunch.
Sorry, I know you can get something like the NuVET in the UK...
Look for an immune system booster / allergy vitamin for pets.
