ok my chihuahua has spots all over her body..she is a very jelous dog..she always sits between my wife and I...well we purchased a 2nd chi around november and we saw these "bumpy hairs" break out so we just thought it was her winter coat coming out..because there wasnt any lumps on her bosy csuch as ant bites...etc..well the lumpy hair went away afew days later...and now we have a new born baby..i dont know if shes just jelous of the baby or what but she has broke out in these hives i guess you can call them...and there alll over...is she looking for attention or what?

Hi Derrick:  Wow, sounds odd!  If there is some swelling and you feel it could be a stress reaction/ allergic reaction????
Well, you can try one dose of Benadryl ...
If it doesn't help, please call your local vet.

Here is the dosage -
Give 1/2 to 1 mg for every pound of your dog.

In other words, 2.5 to 5 mg for a 5 pound dog.
They give you some wiggle room in the dosage.

Again, your chi may need to see a VET.  It is hard to help you without being able to see her.
