My Chi

Question
I rescured a chi from a local adoption agency.  He was nuetered by them and was skin and bones when I got him they think he was about 4 yr old and he weighed 5 1/2 pds  when I took him to a vet.  He is now 6 1/2 pds.  problem---He will not eat any can or dry dog food, nor any people food.I have tried all suggestions--letting him go for 3 days without food,still doesn't eat. giving him chicken, rice.  The only thing he will eat is dog chicken jerky pieces. they have salt and sugar.  can you please help
He does have some cleaning needed on a few teeth, but they are not hurting him if you could see him eat the jerky.  thanks for any help

Hello Noreen, Well at least he is eating the dog jerky stuff!
Can you cook up some hamburger for him?  How about some ground buffalo?  ***most dogs love buffalo meat.... Ask your local store if they carry it.

Will he eat some cottage cheese?  Canned pure Pumpkin? ( no sugar added pure pumpkin) -good calories and fiber.
