Bowl movement?

I have a 22 day old chihuahua puppy that is having to be raised alone. She (Gabbie) was with her family untill yeaterday when her mom got sick and the owners wanted me to pick her up. I have been feeding her and she seems to be in good sprits.She is eating (lapping) her formual right out of the dish and sleeping a lot. I have not been able to get her to have a bm however she is peeing. just now she went on her own over in the corner of the bed. Does that mean I shouldnt worrie about her bm she will go on her own. Should I put a pad in there to try to get her to go on the pad so she gets use to goint on one. She seems to be advanced in what she is doing?

Hello Kristie:  I would like you to call the vet and get little Gabbie in for a check up... YOU said MOM was ill and the owners had you pick her up...NOT good... Please have her checked out by the vet.
Also, the vet is going to ask what is wrong with MOM?????  

Ask the vet about this poop situation...There are many things you can do to help the new puppy...
Chi doggies are very fragile and you need to make sure she is eating 5-6 x per day or every 3 hrs at this young age.
Please call the VET ASAP.
