Question
we have a 9 month old bulldog.  he is mostly a good baby but he cant stop biting!!  he bites our hands, the door frames anything.  he is not neutered (my husband does not want him neutered).  the other thing is that lately he has been vomiting his food whole (it looks like it was sitting in water and is puffy) then he wants to eat it ewwww.  we don't punish him for it.  we are constantly taking him to the vet (i think it's because we are scared that something will happen to him).  lastly, today i noticed a bald spot on his tail.  we can't get to the vet till monday.  can you offer some advice??  thanks!

Answer
First of all, have the dog neutered or your life is going to be a living hell for the forseeable future. If your husband wants the dog to live a long, healthy life, he needs to get over the "guy thing". There are some vets who will vascectomize instead of removing the testicles. Maybe this will make him more comfortable with it. However, there is still the cancer risk if the testicles remain.

Now, this behavior sounds anxiety. See if you can get him into an obedience class. There's a good chance that your constant fretting has transferred your anxiety to the dog. Everyone needs to relax and stop anticipating the worse.

A bald spot on his tail is probably caused from him sitting on it. Many of mine have the same thing. Your vet must love you!
