Bumps down my bulldogs back

Question
Hi

I have a 20mth old bulldog female who has got bumps all down her back, she has come out in them before and within a few days they had gone, They seem to be itchy as she lifts her head in the air when we rub her back. I haven't changed her food she is on the same food as the breeder was giving her when we got her as a 9 week old pup, we had her groomed a few days ago but she gets groomed every 3 months and can't remember if it happened the last time or not so not sure if it's that or not. She isn't on any medication. She has been flead about a week ago but she has never had a reaction to that so wasn't sure if it is an allergic reaction to something or if you have come across it before and know what may cause these lumps.
I will be taking her to the vet but won't be able to see a vet till monday and wasn't sure if there was anything we can put on them to ease it.

Kindest Regards
Nikki

Answer
Hi:  To see if it is an allergic reaction you can give some Benadryl.
Just give one dosage of the 25 mg.  You can do this for 24 hours.  Give (1) 25 mg Benadryl every 8 hrs.
After 1-2 dosages, you should see some results.
If not, you can take her to the VET on Monday?
