QuestionI was walking home one day and saw a cat stuck in a tree. I rescued him and after I was sure he was homeless I took him in. The thing is, I know this cat was once well cared for, he is very well mannered and litter trained, but had been homeless at least a week because he was starving and had fleas. I am not sure if he is neutered. He doesn't spray, but he does have small testicles. I don't know if he simply isn't old enough to spray or what, he looks like he may be an adolescent. Also, if I get him shots and his previous owner already did, will it hurt him? I know how stupid my questions must sound, I'm sorry to trouble you. Thanks:)
AnswerHi Eve!
You are no trouble at all! This is why I am here! If his testicles are just flat, loose skin, then he has been neutered. If you can actually feel the "balls" then he is not. I am very impressed that you took him in and have given him a good home. If he has already had shots, it will not hurt him at all to get them again. I would rather be safe than sorry.
It sounds like this little fellow has found an excellent home.
God Bless,
Becky
