Hi:
We have an exotic shorthair cat that is beautiful except he gets these black spots or little black scabs on his chin, and under his nose. We wash his face everyday, but they are back within 24 hours. Any Ideas?

Hi,

This is a very common condition in cats.  The first thing to do is never to feed your cat on plastic dishes. They need to be china or stainless steel. Plastic has some deleterious effect on cats skin.
Second, get some Stridex pads like teenage children use for acne. Use the pad on the cat's acne morning and evening. Wipe it carefully until the black spots are gone. After a short time the problem will disappear permanently. I have experienced this myself and it worked for me.
