Cat has red urine after delivery

Hi my cat had kittens on April 1st, and every now and then I notice her urine is red. (Sometimes she likes to use the bathtub as her litter box when I have just put fresh litter in the litter box.) And today she went in the tub and it was red urine still. Is this normal or should I contact my vet? She had a litter of 4. Thank you for your time.

Hi Ashley.  Yes, I'd contact the vet.  A week or two can be normal... as there is blood still being released (as in with human babies).  

4 weeks sounds like a little long for my liking, so I'd definitely give a call in the morning.
