Cat ate Dracaena Palm leaves

Question
Our cat ate several leaves of the Dracaena Palm indoor plant. I see that this is a toxic plant and is poisonous to cats. Is there any symptoms that we should look for and should we rush him to the Vet?

Answer
Hi John,

Dracaena ingestion usually causes gastric upset. He might have an upset tummy from eating this. He might have a bout of vomiting.  Keep the plant out of reach or use a bitter orange spray on it to keep him from nibbling at it. Also get some cat grasses to add to his diet. This will help. Good luck.
