death of a sister

Question
we have a brother and sister who have been with us and together for ten years
the little girl, george just died 4 days ago and the boy, coconut head is just starting to realize that she is not coming back
i make sure i'm there for him but with working a full time job it's not easy
i just wonder what we can do in this case

I know that working a full time job and consoling a grieving cat is difficult, but all you can do is your best.  Eventually, Coconut head (cute name by the way)  will accept her not coming back and go on his merry little way as if nothing has happened.  My Jasmine and Sushi were brother and sister, but form different litters. (form different mammas)I got Sushi a new sibling and he did very well.  If getting a kitten is acceptable to you, it will fill the void of his sister and you while at work.  However, love on him alot while your home and you too will form a very special bond.  What I do with Sushi, and this was 4 years ago that i lost Jasmine, is when he's just kicking back on the bed I lay with him, pet him and just softly talk to him about his "baby days" and Jasmine and that she is in a safer place where she is in heaven looking down on us and protecting us and when the time is right, she will send for you and you two will be together.
This is what I recommend you do with Coconut head.  He will have someone to play with and the bond you two will form will be a specail one.
