Answer
Mandi,

I think that you should take this kitty back to the vet to have her urine checked for crystals or infection. You can even ask the vet to check for things like diabetes if the urine shows no crystals or infection. Usually when a previously well trained cat is peeing outside the litter she is trying to tell you that there is some sort of a problem, leaving the message on your bed is sort of like leaving a note for a family member on the kitchen table, she knows that you are going to get the message and she is hoping that you will help solve the problem. If you have an air freshner near the litter box she may be telling you that the perfumes in it are making her feel unwell, the solution to litter box odors is to make sure that the litter is cleaned regularly. If you have recently changed kitty litter types or brands or you use a scented litter she may be trying to tell you that the new arrangements don't work for her. You should also make sure that all of the cats have their own litter box and then add one extra, this means that no matter what happens at least one litter box is always free to use. Try to make sure that the litter box is in a private area that is fairly quiet, cats like to go to the bathroom privately. Hopefully your vet will be able to get to the bottom of this.
