Handling kittens

4 days ago my cat had 4 kittens, i was just wondering when it is the right time to handle the kittens, as ive heard she might leave them if they are touched???

Kittens may be handled as soon as they are born, mama permitting.  Usually, within 3-4 days, most mamas will let you handle the kittens.  Do not over handle the kittens.  Mama should not object and, normally. will not abandon them because you handled them.
