Ghosts

This may seem odd, and to me it is. My cat and his buddy Diego saw some kind of spirit. My daughter in law and son told me and my husband that they have seen apparitions in their apartment and they have described them. One evening Diego and Binky looked up at the corner where the wall meets the ceiling and stared. Diego had no expression except to stare. Binky got this look of utter love on his face--like something was talking to him. We all looked and saw nothing. Binky wont tell me what he saw--and I am as curious as heck as to what he saw. Do you or anyone else ever hear of such a thing?

Yes, I have.  We had some kind of mischievous spirit in a house we rented when we first got married while we were waiting for our first house to be built.  Our cats, all Abyssinians at the time, just sat at the door to the basement steps with tails straight behind them and did not move a muscle, but bristled every hair.  This is a very active breed of cat and they are usually busy patrolling the house all the time (except when they eat or sleep).

After a couple of weeks we heard what sounded like air in the pipes.  Another week or two later, the sound became a rhythm.  For the heck of it, my wife tapped out a rhythm and it tapped the same rhythm back!  I found nothing in the basement.  Fortunately that was the extent of the manifestation.

When my mother visited a couple of weeks after that, we found her sitting on the front stoop.  She heard it and did not want to be in that house alone!!!!!

So, when we moved into our new house, apparently, the spirit did not follow and the cats went back to their normal behavior!!!!!

Since then I have heard of many tales where cats can see things we cannot.
