2 male persians

i have a 1 1/2 old male persian. Do you think that getting a male kitten will be ok with my cat that i have now or should i get a female? We found this male kitten that where in love with and were looking for a companion for my cat now, is this a good idea? Thank you!

Getting a friend for your cat is a great idea. As long as you go slowly and do the introduction process correctly you should not have any problems. It is only rarely that it will not work out.

It does not really matter the gender. It's the personality and temperment of the cats involved.
