my cat was in heat and went to mate with a male cat that was two weeks ago and now she is not acting like her self she just lays around like she has no energy and her appetite has changed also she doesn't eat much could she be pregnant

Hi Kamilah, Thank you for the question. Your cat certainly could be pregnant but that is not classic behavior. I would be concerned that she is ill. Does she have any other symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, diarrhea. She could have picked up a virus and should probably be checked. When cats get pregnant they can be a little nauseous and vomit occasionally but they still eat and are still active so I think you better get your cat checked by a vet. Teresa
