3 yr old cat vomits after wet food only

Question
my 3 year old cat vomits almost everytime after eating only wet food...she can keep it down if i give her only a spoonfull.  is it possible a hairball is blocking her intestine.  Is it ok for me to omit wet food from her diet all together?

HI Jamie, Cats tend to not drink enough water.  That is the reason why we want cats to have the wet canned food along with the dry.  If you can get your cat to drink enough water, then you can just feed the dry.  CATS tend to have Kidney disease and failure because of a lack of water in the diet.

As far as the hair balls??  Sure, it's possible.
Add some pure salmon oil to the dry food daily - just 1/4 or even 1/8 of a teaspoon - long term.
