cat stroke

hi my kitten about 8 weeks old she was absolutely fine and all of a sudden (within an hour or so) she has lost muscle control and it has gone from bad to worse.  She now cannot move, is in a constant arched position and her eyes are staring.  She responds only slightly to touch and meows like she may be in some pain when she is moved.  What could be the problem?
