wierd behaveor

I have 2 young male kittys 1st is 7 mo. old and new kitten is 5 mo. old. Not from same litter. Just recently the younger kitty is always licking the older kittys butt...longer than a normal smell. He is constantly doing this. Whats up and how do I stop him ? We yell NO.. stop.. and squirt with a water bottle.

I would take the older cat to the vet and see if he is ok. He may have a discharge of some sort that the other is taking care of. I know it sounds yucky but this is what cats do. Get the older one checked out. I think the vet will find something going on. Good luck.
