Question
I recently adopted a six week old kitten.  My 3 other cats , ages 10 months(2) and 2 yrs(1), are acting aggressively toward this kitten and won't have anything to do with my husband or me.  They have welcomed other kittens(not quite this young)in the past and I don't understand the problem.  I have made special efforts to pet them and make them feel comfortable, made sure not to show any favoritism towards the kitten, nothing is working.  All my cats are fixed.  Any suggestions?

Answer
Talk to your vet about putting baby powder that is safe for your cat on each of them for a couple of weeks. If cats smell the same, they will treat eachother more like family in many cases. You should talk to your vet about this with your cat. Good luck and ask follow ups. Make sure the baby powder is safe for the cats by talking to your vet about this.
