Intro gone wrong

Question
I have recently taken in a young kitten. From the beginning it has been sensory overload for my six-month old kitten (Ihave a very bad scratch to prove it).  It has been two days and I have put each cat into his own bathroom. It's been a few hours and my older kitten is acting more like himself again. The younger kitten seems oblivious.  How do I undo the damage that has been done? And how can I repair and strenghten my relationship with my older kitten?  (I must admit I was very angry when he lashed out at me and. I yelled at him)

the best thing to do is to take a step back wards and start the intro again for your cats, here is how best to go about it, it does take some time but is worth it in the end.

As for you, bonding is important and it is important that the cat can trust and feel safe with you. Bonding has to be done on there terms for them to completely trust you, especially as there may now be a little fear involved since the scratching. i also have a page about how best to bond with your cat. hope it helps.
