kitten wont eat

I have a six week old female kitten she has not eaten all day and has been doing nothing but sleeping.

At 6 weeks old your kitten is very young, too young to be away from her mom - for future reference it's best to have your kitten be at least 12 weeks old when s/he leaves mom and his/her siblings. It sounds like your kitten could very well be sick, it's not normal behaviour for a young kitten not to eat and to spend the whole day sleeping - this baby  needs to see a vet immediately to ensure that she's treated....If not she could very easily die since kittens this young can dehydrate very quickly and it's difficult to save them once this happens....even with proper medical intervention simply because they're so tiny.
