cat is losing hair

i have a 2 yr old persian cat and recently i notice that he is losing a significant amount of fur. there are large round bald spots on his body. I also notice his skin is dry and flaking with dandruff. i am concern and would like to know if he has anything that needs medical attention.

Hi Jessica!  I would definitely recommend a vet visit. This hair loss can be due to allergies, parasites, infection ,ect.  Your veterinarian will be able to diagnose what is causing the hairloss through a physical examination and some simple tests.
