Dachsund wont eat

My 9 yr. old dachsound won't eat and his gums and tongue are losing there color. I haven't seen any worms in his poop. I am on a fixed income and unable to pay a vet bill. Please tell me what may be wrong with my dog. Oh yes he also is very bony and his hair is is very sparse. Thank-you

You better get him to the vet ASAP.  He may have a life threatening anemia called Hemolytic Anemia if his gums are getting pale.   Intestinal parasites do not cause that much blood loss.  Fleas certainly can cause mild anemia but in adults is usually not that severe.  With the weight loss and poor hair condition, there certainly could be something else going on like liver or kidney disease.

This is not something that you can treat at home, and if he doesn't get veterinary care he may very well die.
