Our dog  Bizcuit recently got spayed and had a distemper shot since then she has been sneezing and making coughing sounds like she has something caught in her throat is this normal after a distemper shot or should I take her to get checked?

Answer
It is possible for some vaccines to cause a very mild illness for a couple of days following administration.  If she continues the symptoms for more than a couple of days I would recommend having her examined as she could possibly have contracted an illness while in to have the surgery.
