hello, is it a must to geld a ridgling? what happens if i dont geld a ridgling, does it lead to colic if i dont geld a ridgling (i heard somewhere)?

There are many differing beliefs about this but colic doesn't play into it to my knowledge. A horse with a completely un-descended testicle has a small, soft testicle that is buffered by the intestines and would not cause an issue with them.

Behavior would more likely be the cause of a colicky horse- and bad feeding practices.

Ridglings are usually not very good tempered horses, and that is why, unless you are racing them, most people will opt to have the testicle removed.
