Siamese cat recently vaccinated

Question
Our 4 or 5 year old (she was a stray) recently had her yearly vaccinations (rabies/feline leuk/etc).  I noticed a few days later that she had a rather large 1/2-1" lump in the area where she was vaccinated.  I see no external signs of infection.  I can see a small red dot where the needle went in her skin.  I would like to know whether it warrants a trip back to the vet.  The trip in the car really stresses her out and would like to avoid that if it's not necessary.  This is the first cat we've ever had but boy has she won us over!  What can cause "vaccination lumps?"  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Teresa, Don't worry this can be normal.....
The area should get better in a week or so.  Make sure next year you tell them she had a reaction to the injection site.  Just a small lump and some swelling.  They may give her 1/2 the dosage in two areas.  Just tell them next time you get her immunizations done.
This happens all the time.

As for her Immune System and Nutrition*** Please check out NuVET Plus - This is the feline formula, used by breeders and "show" cats...
