My dogs stool

Question
QUESTION: Hi, I recently changed my dog's diet to homemade dog food made by myself. I was afraid that he might not get use to it or might be allergic to it, so I have been paying attention to her stool. Her stool is light brown with pieces of corn (the homemade meal I made for her has corn in it). I was just wondering, do I see the pieces of corn because she isn't able to digest it/allergic to it or it is normal. Thank you.

ANSWER: Hi - they don't digest corn - so that is ok... I would like to know what your are making and what kind of dog you have... I sure don't like corns in dog foods... Do you want some nutritional help? Do you want to learn about supplements and oils, too?

Let me know...I can advise you

QUESTION: Hi, I am using a recipe from the book "Dr. Pitcairn's New Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats" by Richard H. Pitcairn and Susan Hubble Pitcairn. I have an 11-12 years old Maltese.
Here is the recipe I used:

1/2 pound lean ground chicken
6 pieces whole wheat bread
1 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cooked corn
1/2 teaspoon powdered egg shells (homemade)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small clove garlic, minced

The recipe also requires a Healthy Powder (nutritional yeast, lecithin granules, kelp powder, and bone meal), and 100 IU vitamin E, but I did not include these when I was making the recipe because I am unable to find these ingredients. The recipe is also meant to eaten raw, but I am not too sure about my dog eating raw meat... so I decided to cook it.

My dog also has an anal infection so she is on antibiotics, and I have noticed that she has been licking her paws very often, I am worried that she might be allergic to something, but I don't know what. I just recently decided to make homemade meals for my dog because she looks like she is in really poor health and I found out how bad commerical dog food is. I really want to help my dog live a happy, healthy, and safe life. Please help me! Thank you.

Answer
Hi- the recipe looks good for a dog that doesn't have allergies to wheat and corn.  I would get rid of the wheat and corn ..... I wonder if you can add some Kellogg All bran to the recipe.  Just a few teaspoons full.

Here is some vitamins you can add to your program: ( vitamins and supplements)  Natures Sunshine ships all over the world every 24 hrs...7 days  a week..

Kelp - give one per day - open capsule and put contents in food:
