wood stove pellets

My puppy ate a few pieces of pellets that come from the pellet stove. I took away any he had, but saw he had eaten some based on the crums he left. The bag had a whole in it, I cleaned up as fast as I could. Is this toxic ? Should I do anything ? Thank you
