Cat Behavior- Urinating Everywhere

Question
One of my cats (I have four), Pookie, is constantly peeing on everything.  He pees on the floor and anything left on the floor and recently he peed in my bed.  Background:  Pookie use to be my brother's cat until he moved and couldn't take care of him anymore.  I brought Pookie to my home about 2 years ago.  So, he went from being an only cat to being the fourth cat.  I have two female cats that he constantly picks on and one male cat that adores him but Pookie doesn't feel the same.  I took Pookie to my veterinarian and he doesn't have any physical problems.  My question is how can I get him to stop peeing on everything?

Answer
Hi Lisa!  Is Pookie neutered?  If he is not neutered, then this is the culprit.  Any intact male cat will constantly mark his territory.  This would also be the reason he is picking on your female cats.  If he is not neutered, getting him neutered should eliminate all of this behavior.
If Pookie is neutered, I would have your veterinarian check his urine for a urinary tract infection.  This is the number one cause for elimination outside the litter box.  This is easily cured with antibiotics.
Be sure to clean the spots where he has sprayed thoroughly with a pet stain and odor product.  Nature's Miracle is sold in pet stores and I have always loved this product.  You may find it helpful too. By getting rid of his urine scent in your home (even if you can't smell it, he probably can and will continue to mark there), he will not feel the need to consistantly eliminate in these places.
I hope this helps and please let me know how he does!
