Question
hello, good day to you. i have a cat who just gave birth to 4 kittens last sunday..last night, she started to transfer her kittens one by one to a certain place, which is my room..i tried to get her out of the house and returned her kittens but she just keeps on bringing her kittens up in my room.

what is happening to her? does she find my room safe?

well, when she(my cat) was still a kitten, i was the one who took care of her, fed her with milk and i let her sleep beside me in my bed...i'd prepare a small space for her to sleep..i've been doing this until she grew up..

do cats have emotions? is it possible that she considers me as her parent?

i hope ull answer my questions because i've been wondering about this quite a long time..

thanks very much! it would be a great help to me!

Answer
Hi there!  Congrats on the kittens!
You mentioned that when she was a kitten that you let her sleep beside you in bed.  She is associating your room with the feelings of contentment and safety that she had when she was a kitten, and wants her kittens to have the same. Cats are very emotional animals and I am sure that she considers you as her parent.  Although cats do not perform tricks on command like dogs do, they are every bit as intelligent, if not more so.  Cats are usually very good mothers to their kittens and want them in a safe place, where they have felt safe.  I think you definately have an admirer as your cat is looking to you and your room for the safety of her babies.
I hope this answers your questions and if you have any more, please feel free to ask!
