clostridium perfingens

Question
Hello, today I took my dog to the vet and they said that he may have clostidium perfingens and I know that humans can have it as well but I wondered if I could catch it from my dog?

Hi Kimberly!I have never heard of this before!It does sound a little unsafe for both you and your dog.I would recommend taking your dog back to the vet to get properly treated.While your at the vets,ask him if it is contagious.If it is contagious,you may want to go to the doctors to find out if you have got it.I hope this is helpful and goodluck!Please keep me posted and give him some kisses for me!
