I have a 9 month old daschund and she has been bleeding from her vagina for 10 days off and on. Is this normal for a dog period? Deloras

Yes this is normal, some female pets continue to bleed for up to 14 days all depending on their own bodies cycle.

She is perfectly healthy and has begun her estrus cycle at a normal time.

Give her lots of love, goodness knows its just as frustrating to a female dog as it is to us women!
