Hello, Yes, Prescription Z/d is expensive and lots of junk fillers... Not quality for your money -
How about:
A food to try is the Natural Balance (by Dick Van Patten) line. Many dogs do well with the fish and sweet potato.
Also, you may want to go on a few supplements - A GOOD Probiotic will help this baby - Probiotics will help the Gut and the lining of the intestines - the ulcerative part...
Here is one I use often with my clients;
Flora Force:
Here is a link to the Probiotic / To reduce the excess Yeast in the gut: Give 1 per day for at least 30 days and Then reduce to 1 every other day for 30 more days. Let your vet know that your dog is taking supplements.

Also, Most of my clients take 1 NuVET wafer per day - this will help the gut but ALSO re-build the immune system and it is an allergy blaster.... YOUR dog many have food or Environmental allergies...
Call them today - tell them Marie sent you FROM ask the Pet Nurse -
Ask them for the 60 count bottle of NuVET - they give you a 60 Day guarantee.... YOU will see results in 60 days or less:
1-800-474-7044 ( this is all Natural and SAFE)
Give them order code 81098 and ask about the 15% off program.

KEEP me POSTED!
We can also come up with a recipe for your dog...I have a few you can look at - The Natural Balance may be a good option...
But, if it doesn't agree with your baby - HOME-Cooking is an option.
