i want to bring my dog to the USA for the summer

I live in prague, czech republic and i want to bring my dog with me to the US for 3 months during the summer. What do i need to do in order to make sure that i can travel with her? She has a european union passport and all her shots. Anyway if you could please let me know what i need from the vet and the kind of carrying case i would appreciate it! THANKS

Thanks for your email!

You are in luck.  There is not much in the way of requirements for bringing your pets into the United States.  You will need to make sure that her shots are between 30 days and a year old as of the date of travel.

Also you will need a health certificate filled out by a vet dated within  10 days of travel.  The specific airline you choose may have some other requirements, however that is it for the US.
