Traveling with a golden Retriever.

Hi,

I was wondering if you could tell me on what are requirements that need to be fulfilled for my golden retriever
(around  75 Lbs, 4 yrs old) to travel to India through Lufthansa airlines.

Please visit:  www.ipata.com   There are several pet shippers in
India.  You will need a: No Objection Certificate; which is an import
permit, prior to import.
You will need an APHIS 7001 international health cert issued within
10 days of travel and endorsed by usda.  Also, rabies vac at least
30 days old and less than one year.
Try to take dog as excess baggage rather than cargo, as it will be
much cheaper and dog will clear customs with you.
Lufthansa will advise if they have any further  requirements
